Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele has reportedly choose his next destination between the likes Liverpool and PSG.
Liverpool are favourites to sign Ousmane Dembele, after Barcelona confirmed they were willing to let the French forward head out on loan. Also with the Reds offloading Coutinho to Barcelona in January for £146 million, Barcelona still owe the Reds £74.4 million.
Meaning Barcelona still owe them quite a lot of money, which could be used too pay off as a potential permanent deal. Reports suggest Liverpool are only interested in a loan move for Ousmane Dembele. Although recently, news came out, Liverpool had made an official loan bid for the winger.
At first, Barcelona were not open to selling Dembele but after a season review, they come to the conclusion, due to injury and lack of first team football, they become more open to sending him on loan so the player could play more first team football. Dembele was only involved in 1021 minutes of first team football this season in the all competitions, having a hand in 5 goals and 6 assists. Barcelona paid £96.8 million potentially rising upto £135.5 million due to add-ons for Dembele from Borussia Dortmund. With a so high fee, Barcelona could be in for a significant lost if they decide they sell him in this transfer window.
