In this article Adrian talks about if it is Liverpool’s time to win silverware.
Since 2012 the Reds have failed to win any silverware despite coming close to Europa League winners and Capital Cup winners in the 2015/16 season. Liverpool last won a trophy in 2012 after beating Cardiff City 3-2 on penalties. The Reds also had a chance to win a FA Cup the same year but came a goal short losing to Chelsea 2-1 at Wembley.

Since the departure of Kenny Daglish in 2012 and the arrival of Brendan Rodgers , within in his 3 year stay, Brendan came close to a Premier League title which he just missed on the last day of the 2013-14 season by 2 points. As they had dropped 5 points in the their last three games of the table which had cost them the title no doubt.

The final season of Rodgers reign come to an end shortly in the 2014/15 season after 1-1 draw against Everton.

The club had released a statement “Although this has been a difficult decision, we believe it provides us with the best opportunity for success on the pitch,”

This was due that Brendon had won no silverware for the Reds despite going close to taking the Reds to a Preimer League in the 2013-14 season, this still had not left any happy fans leading to his departure at Liverpool Football Club.

The German international Juergen Klopp came in to the club hoping he could be the one to turn Liverpool Football Club around and hopefully bring silverware to Anfield. Klopp has yet not won any silverware yet with Liverpool. Personally I think he has been very unlucky with what’s happen for example when we lost Sakho right before the Europa League Final after being accused of doping. Where a few days later after the game, this turned out not to be true and he could of made a difference to the score line.

Now Klopp is in his third season as manager of Liverpool Football Club and that his time for silverware is this season with the new additions to his squad and also now that the club have the squad depth for all competitions. As Liverpool has a lot of history for winning silverware and they need to bring their glory days back. Can Liverpool win silverware this year?
Yes I think they can!.
