So far Liverpool have turned down a bid of £11m for Alberto Moreno from Napoli, and are holding out for £15m for the Spanish fullback.
This season Moreno hasn’t impressed Jurgen Klopp enough to put him in the starting 11 and therefore, Jurgen Klopp has changed it up and put James Milner in LB for the 2016/17 season.
With Liverpool almost certain of signing a left-back this summer transfer window, there has been reports from Di Marzio claiming that Liverpool could use Alberto Moreno as a swap deal for Napoli LB Faouzi Ghoulam. This deal would be good for both parties as Liverpool would now gain a quality Champions League left back.
Furthermore, Faouzi Ghoulam would be a great addition to the Liverpool squad as he has lots of experience in Champions League games. This is very important as we don’t have enough Champions League experience in the squad. Also, Ghoulam is a natural left footed left-back and we have lacked this due to James Milner playing there the whole season.
With left-back a main problem for Jurgen Klopp this season, Ghoulam would defiantly sort this problem out as he suits our playing style. For Liverpool to wrap the deal up they need to do a Moreno and Ghoulam swap deal to see him at Anfield next season.
